This initial hour-long meet and greet is a wonderful opportunity to meet face-to-face and explore what it is you are hoping to achieve when it comes to your home and lifestyle. JDS Designers will come to you, spending an hour discussing topics which might include – space potential, layout, needs & requirements, style, theme photos, color, lighting, and more. This is also an excellent way for us both to see if it is a good fit — an insurance policy that there is a healthy balance of trust, respect, understanding, and FUN in our futures!
This is a two-and-a-half-hour, active meeting for the DIY-ers. We spend our time together moving through your space(s) providing insight on any design dilemmas you may have and maybe even a few you hadn’t fully identified yet! We will offer suggestions and professional design expertise geared toward you, your family, and your home – including furniture placement, functionality, furniture ideas, styling tips, color suggestions, window coverings, lighting, etc. – and leave you with a clear plan on how to implement these things moving forward!
Designers spend the day with you in your home and work to breathe new life into your spaces while using your existing furniture pieces, art, and accessories. We bring no extra styling pieces, just our keen eye and willingness to hustle. We will encourage moving items from one room to another to create cohesive arrangements without spending a dime! While there, we will also give recommendations on pieces you may purchase at a later time to round out and complete the functionality and aesthetic goals you are aiming for in your space.
Whether you need design coaching through finish selections or you’d like access to to-the-trade sources, Designer Time Blocks might be the option for you! These blocks are purchased upfront in 5, 10, and 20 hour increments and provide a flexible framework for design services without the monthly bills. As you cash in on the time, we keep you updated on how time was allotted and how much remains. You, as the client, are in the driver’s seat and have full control over how we spend the time to best serve your needs!
